Anything is Possible

Anything is Possible:    If there was ever a time to dare,
to make a difference,
to embark on something worth doing,
IT IS NOW.
Not for any grand cause, necessarily...
but for something that tugs at your heart,
something that's your inspiration,
something that's your dream.

Too busy too busy too busy, but not to ramble, apparently

Turns out, I need a camera. Since everyone in my vast extended family, from eighty-something down to four years, has a camera, I didn't think I would ever need my own. I'm not interested in taking pictures. I'm perfectly content looking at the pictures other people take.

Don't Quit

Don't Quit - by John Greenleaf Whittier
When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest, if you must, but just don't quit.

Maybe you noticed

I changed my icon picture.  I did that because on Friday, November 20, 2009 my pet Sally passed away peacefully at home.  I decided I couldn't keep on looking at her picture when I logged in, so I posted a picture of our puppy Travis instead.  It's a fairly old picture of him...I really need to get a new one.

Real Life Inspiration

It's amazing where you can find story inspiration. Just reading through daily online news stories can bring story ideas to the forefront. Today, in particular, I found such a thing. The following link describes a story where a father and son get separated on the subway and a "bright haired woman" is the Good Samaritan who ensures the story has a happy ending.
