S5001378.JPG

My post for Harlequin Favorite moments is approaching fast and furious. It's to go up on the 16th, so I figured I'd tell you how I got roped into doing one.

Any suggestions for my seventh double oh spot?

given that it won't be a new Evelyn Vaughn and that my Cindy Dees or my Catherine Mann won't be here in time (I'm currently reading #694)

If the Kelly Hunter (Sleeping Partner) gets here in time, I could read that

My Harlequin Moment: Jina Bacarr

SS
"And then Jina Bacarr's Blonde Geisha crossed my desk and that rule just flew out the window," according to Susan Swinwood during the Erotica Panel at the 2006 RWA Conference in Atlanta, Georgia.

I'll never forget that day. I was sitting in the audience, fumbling with my new digital camera, working the zoom, checking the sound, trying to get the darn thing to work, when I heard Susan mention my book, The Blonde Geisha. Set in 1895 Japan, it was my first book for Spice and the rule Susan referred to was not to include historicals in their just-launched erotic fiction program.

Taking A Healing Break

We lost our oldest furbaby Saturday morning, and I'm a little down, so I'm taking a few days off to work things through. Be back soon.

Can someone help me Browse the Book?

Right now I'm feeling like the worlds BIGGEST dunce.

Both eharlequin and the mills and boon site have Browse the book features.  Have I seen any of them?  Nope.  Because when I click on the widget, I get a new window, that says briefly that it's downloading content from the site, and then I get a white window with an annoying little word at the bottom left-  DONE.

Coming soon!

Check out my free online short story, All Hallows's Joy,

coming to the  eharlequin Daily Read on September 15th.

e-book reader?

So I'm asking for an e-book reader for Christmas. I love the look of
the Sony, but the Kindle's what I hear about all the time. I realize
I''m a little behind the tmes just now getting into the digital book
age, but it took me a while.
Now I've got to figure out where to go, what to get, what I want. I think I want (need) a back light.
