We had a good time at our monthly book club meeting this evening. We read the Black Sheep P.I. by Karen Whiddon and the author came to chat with us. I enjoyed meeting her and my first question was when does the brother's story come out. I was intrigued by the brother and really want his story. So his story will come out in April. I can't wait to read it.
My old hometown was also hit by a storm. One that whipped the Atlantic to a creamy, frothy rage.
9 WORDS WOMEN USE
(1) Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.
A name by any other synonym is a login ID, a nomenclature, a screen name, a moniker, an alias, a tag, or a “hey you.” Names can be given with little thought or with much debate. Sometimes a name has a history. It is bad form to tax others with such histories; however,

Today we're welcoming Mason DuBroc the hero of The Face of Deceit by Ramona Richards, September. Wow, you've just had quite an adventure.
Thank you, cheré. I am most proud to be your guest. I apologize in advance if I clip you a bit with my hands. They tend to fly about when I’m talking.
Yes, an adventure it was, one I wasn't convinced we would survive.
I’m going to cheat just a little bit before I tell you my story, because I, like everyone who writes for Harlequin, probably has TWO favorite moments, one of them being the phone call telling us we’d sold our first book to Harlequin. In my case, that was an even bigger moment, because it wasn’t just my first book to Harlequin but my first book ever. And you can imagine how exciting that was!
But my other favorite moment – and, in truth, it is still and will probably always be my very favorite Harlequin moment – includes two of my favorite women – Stevi Mittman and Jennifer Greene – and two of my favorite activities – sitting on the stairs and singing (badly!).
Hey people, I've read (and enjoyed) a couple Susan Mallery books lately. (The Unexpected Millionaire is an utter keeper... an SD... that had me choking with laughter and just howling away). I've seen tons of her books at the library. I'm eyeing up her SSE books.
Wow all. I just went to eharlequin to check on the rest of the Thoroughbred Lagacy series (felt like it ended with #8, but there are 4 more) and the first thing I noticed is we can now order 30 books at a time. My rural postal person will be so happy that I can cut the number of boxes coming into the house each month. I won't have to try to decide which ones to order first second, third etc, but can just grab 30 and go. Whooopee!!!! Happy reading and ordering all
