DD moved away to school, so you'd think the TV wars would be over. But no. See, I have a few shows to DVR:
The
Closer and Raising the Bar are on Monday. DH is fine with those.
Actually, he pretty much leaves the room. I think Gossip Girl is on
Mondays too, now, but I can catch it later if I have to.
Tuesday is blockbuster night.

Hey Ladies!!

DH likes to watch NCIS on a Friday night but it's a bit violent so is unsuitable for under 6s

So given that we were running late, I sent the boys up to their bedroom so that DH could watch his telly

They hadn't had dessert but I was planning to go upstairs with icecreams for the boys

but then the younger of the two fell asleep

A friend of mine lent me some books by the author Lori Foster. they are part of a SBC fighter series and look really good. i will get to them this weekend hopefully. who here has read these books or others by her. i want as many recommendations as possible. some people have me convinced to try the first book by JR Ward so i think i may do that.

After months of calling the next book in the Spotlight on Sentinel Pass series "Mac's story", I have a new title: PICTURE PERFECT MOM.

I have to say that I am incredibly disappointed in the current crop of online reads.

My favorite Harlequin moment came on April 7, 2005, when my mama rose up and started speaking to me from the grave. Before you think I've gone off my rocker, let me give you the back story.

We had a good time at our monthly book club meeting this evening. We read the Black Sheep P.I. by Karen Whiddon and the author came to chat with us. I enjoyed meeting her and my first question was when does the brother's story come out. I was intrigued by the brother and really want his story. So his story will come out in April. I can't wait to read it.

My old hometown was also hit by a storm. One that whipped the Atlantic to a creamy, frothy rage.
