My son has his own theme music.

I just had to share because my 8yr old cracks me up. I am trying to pack for a weekend trip and he is playing with his castle legos. When he plays with them he has to sing the music from Lord of the Rings. If he is calm he hums the Shire tune. If he is playing a battle scene he has another tune and does an awesome immitation of a Nazgul. (Sounds pretty scary actually.)

Vegas, baby!

I have been away a week or so because hubby is back from Honduras. We have visited all the stores/restaurants around here as he is getting acclimated to being back in the states.

Now I will be in Vegas for 6 days but have some books to read and I promise to blog them when I get back.

Stop whining: you are blessed.

Caution: A long rant is coming!

I have been hearing a little about the Stop Whining book Dr. Laura has out though I haven't read it. Anything with 'stop whining' in the title has to have some value.

Calling all Regency authors.

I posted a few questions under the research tab on the Write Stuff forum. It doesn't look like the research area is visited much and I would appreciate any assistance the historical ladies could give me.

Michelle or Liz are you out there?

My son started stuttering.

This is under the category of something I just had to throw out to the void to keep from screaming in frustration.

I got my dream job--don't laugh.

The principal at my son's school asked me if I wanted to help out in the lunchroom two hours every day. I would keep order and watch them on the playground, etc. He called me in for an interview and I realized it is a JOB not a volunteer opportunity.

Harlequin authors: Thank you!

I am a goober and I promise I won't blog again about how wonderful everyone here is!Embarassed

You know you have watched LOTR too many times...

Did you go to school with kids that could remember all the dialogue from the Star Wars movies? I am sorry to say I thought those guys who sat in the back of my Honors Government class were goobers. (Honors Government- what an oxymoron.)

Why is nobody mentioning Harlequin?

I thought I could write 100k but it's not working. I am at 73k words. I start an on-line course and the instructor tells me I HAVE to write 100k or I won't get published. I ask questions on other websites and I'm repeatedly told I have to write 100K.
