Boy, what a day....

Hello Everyone,

I havent been very active here lately.  Been busy with life stuff.  But also reading.  I am almost done with Damien by Jacquelyn Frank.  I will post about it later when I am done.

I actually did it...

I actually walked into Barnes and Noble and didnt buy any thing.

The two books I wanted (Charlaine Harris's new Sookie book &  Mary Janice Davidsons new Betsy book), only came in hard back.  I just dont want to pay $25 for a hard back right now. Even with my 10% off, it would just cost to much.

6 Healthy Reasons To Eat Watermelon

Big or small, seedless or not, red or yellow, nothing says summer like a big, juicy watermelon (or a seed-spitting contest off the deck). But there is a lot more to this melon than water. Turns out it's packed with phytonutrients, vitamins A, C, and a good hit of potassium, plus some B6 and thiamine -- everything except fat, sodium and calories. Cool.

Busy this weekend

I was in classes all day yesterday, and I will be doing the same today.  Not much time for reading.

Here are more pix of my doggie.  A couple of years ago, my roomie took a photography class, and used him as a subject of many pix. The pic on the left is one she took after she yelled at him to stay still and the other is him being mad at her for yelling.

Wow, it is 5:41am (I should be walking out the door now).  It is 83 degrees in this house.

Big Sigh......

Well, i did it.....I spent money on books.....I keep telling myself no more books.  I have so many books, I could probably go one through the next challange.

I especally didnt want to buy hard backs....they cost way too much money, but I must continue on with these two series.

Boy, what a day....

It is not even noon, and I feel like I have been through a whole day.  It is actually 11:16am and a nice warm 70 degrees (should get up to 80 today)

I got up and picked up a room in the house and packed up a few things to take to the post office.

I  packed up my grocery cart with packages to send and some things to drop off at the local Good Will.
