Hi, all!

Howdy-

I've been back from the RWA conference for close to a week now and-no- I haven't posted a blog entry until today.  And this one is more of an admission of slacker-dom than a real post...

Hard getting back in the swing! I've been something of a slacker in my diet and exercise too.  But I am at work on new projects... so that counts for something!

Last weekend, I attended a book festival in Shreveport, Louisiana, that was held at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium, home of the Louisiana Hayride (Where Elvis and many other country stars got their start!) The festival went well, but the most intriguing thing about the weekend was a photo that was taken on Friday night!

Sorry to have been so quite the past week.  I was out of town over the weekend at a book festival (I'll post more about that soon!) and I'm in the home stretch of finishing my WIP.  I'm scrambling to finish it before I leave next week for RWA National in San Francisco.

Mother guilt...

I think all mothers must have it in some form.  We want, more than anything, to do right by our kids, and usually we do just fine. But every now and then a situation creeps up that has us questioning our mothering skills.
