Okay, I am about to hit 100 books, only problem.  While, I have a lot of good books in my pile, I don't know if I have a 100th book.  Hmm, may have to do a search of the TBR pile to see if something grabs me.  Anyone have any recommendations?

BERLIN (AP) --  An American hiker stranded in the Bavarian Alps for nearly three days was rescued after using her sports bra as a signal, police in southern Germany said Monday.

For the past five years or so, each year I have gotten into trying to read more books each year.  In a lot of ways, this has been great, it has expanded my reading habits and added a lot of new authors to the mix.  However, lately I have almost been feeling pressured to read. 

As part of my goal to expand my reading habit - at least what and who I read - I am giving Blaze a shot.  A quick briefer, I read the occasional Harl. Temptation, but wasn't thrilled with the early direction of the Blaze line, seemed all sex and no story.  Well, of course, I have been hearing for a while that Blaze's are so much more. 

So I have been reading a couple of blogs lately and wondered what do you do when you don't like the book?  Me, I try to point out my issue, but then try and say something good that I liked.  This seems to work pretty well, but what do you do when you really have a serious issue with a book, do you not review it, just state that you read it, or give a serious review? I don't think any of us do

Got this list from another site and thought it was pretty interesting.  So have you read any of these or do you plan to try and read some in the future?

2008 RITA for Best First Book Finalists

So how large is your TBR really, I thought mine was about 150 books or so.  However, when I got my carpet fixed last week, it convinced me to organize my TBR - previously, it had been on some shelves with no organization - and truthfully, it didn't look that nice, so instead of putting it back there, I put it in boxes organized by what I was going to read - set up one box as my first reads about 10, then another with the next 10, then a slightly larger box and then a bigger box. 

I think I am in a slump.  I started the year fast reading six books in about 7 days or something like that, now it has taken me the rest of the month to read five books.  I don't know if it is me or the books, but nothing is grabbing me.  I am afraid that I am going to ruin a good book by reading it in this mood. 

So did you make any resolutions for 2008?  I try not to make resolutions, but I do try and make reaffirmations - what is the difference, nothing, but resolutions are always broken, so it is my hope that reaffirmations won't be.  I have four for this year:
