spoilers- do you or don't you

Last year we were able to change font colors so spoilers weren't seen because we wrote them in white, so white on white couldn't be seen. Unless the reader wanted to read the spoilers then he/she could drag the curser over the area and the spoiler would magically appear. This year we can't do that. So I guess all we can do is warn readers that the review contains spoilers. (which I've seen a lot). So if you come across a post that says "Warning spoilers" and you know know this is a book you will be reading in the near future do you read it or not? Do you save it for a later date for after you have read the book? (I saw a comment to this affect about Love Enshrined). Do different opions influence your review? Is there a limit about how much to say? When we read a book we know mostly that the H and h will hook up and live HEA, but there are 200 pages explaining to that point that differs, so I don't consider saying the H and h live HEA  a spoiler.(NFM)

Back to my regular scheduled program (sort of)

So for the last 3 weeks I have been painting and super cleaning this place. And I think now all the rooms are painted, my three bookshelves are back up, all books are back on them, all furnature back in place (sort of). I have a new couch coming Thursday. My sister bought it, said it was early birthday present(real early, birthday isn't til November) Now it's mostly little things like organizing linen closet (why am I keeping sheets that don't fit any beds in the house) and a few other cabinets and things. But at least now I can sit for 3-4 hours and catch up on blogs and my reading. I miss my reading. I used to read 5 or 6 chapters before sleep. Lately I've been so exhausted that I can barely get through one.(NFM)

what's wrong with this picture

As long as I can remember I have been active. So when I was more or less unable to work anymore I was at a loss of what to do with myself(hence the book addiction) My friends are truck drivers, so sometimes they are on the road 2-3 weeks at a time and home only for 1 or 2 days. Since they live in the same apartment building as me I go up and play Molly Maid some days and clean their apartment. I also at times do their laundry.  I usually don't have a lot of laundry cause it's just me. But right now their apartment is cleaner than mine so what is wrong with this picture. I also got 3 loads of their laundry done. I seem to gain a deeper satisfaction of accomplishing work for someone else other than myself. So their apartment is clean, I got three loads of their laundry(tomorrow is another 3), got my dishes done, productive week so far. (NFM)

shopping

So last week while I was at my sister's, I went shopping for pants the one day. So I picked a bunch that I liked and off to the fitting I went with the sizes I was last year. They were too small. I think I gained a little weight since last summer. So I find a larger size and try all them on. I can close them but my butt looks big(ok maybe that's not totally the pantsSmile). When she was bringing me back we stopped at another store and I felt like friggin Goldilocks. I had like 5 pairs of pants the same size but some were too large and some too small none just right. Went to another store in same mall and went to try on another 10 pair. Again with the Goldilocks syndrome. After trying all those on I got two pair. No wonder I hate shopping. (NFM)

What authors are reading!

It's fantistic to see all the authors participating in the challenge and seeing what they are reading. I've always been curious as to what authors read in their off time. Do they read books in the same genre as they write? Go for something totally different? Are they always working and reading research books? I love that we are able to interact with so many authors here. NFM

my ignorance in things I took for granted like uneven sidewalks

I admit I took a lot of things for granted until they affected me. There are a lot of times where I can sympathize with a person but may never really know what they go through unless I walk a mile in their shoes. I never really noticed how uneven some sidewalks were or the curbs not gradually meeting a street until I had to start using a walker 6 years ago.
