Has the way you buy books changed?

Has the way you buy books changed over the years?

What a great line!

I'm reading Olivia Gates' THE SHEIKH SURGEON'S PROPOSAL and thoroughly loving it.  But there was one line that hooked me for sure!  On page 60, here is a line from Jay, the heroine:

"You'd better watch it before you have an offensiveness overdose and slip into a chauvinistic coma."

Classic!  I love this heroine!  Now back to reading....

My March Totals

I haven't actually blogged all of these yet but here's what all I read in the month of March:

 GAWAIN by Gwen Rowley

THE WITCH OF PORTOBELLO by Paulo Coehlo

HER ONE AND ONLY VALENTINE by Trish Wylie

HIGHLAND GUARDIAN by Melissa Mayhue

SNOW FLOWER AND THE SECRET FAN by Lisa See

Any themes that you enjoy?

What themes instantly draw you to a book?  Are there themes (or even particular lines or imprints) that are autobuy for you regardless of whether you've heard of the author or not.

For me, paranormal themes are of course an autobuy.  But here are my themes that I cannot resist (and I'm sure I'll think of more as time goes by):

My February Reads

I'm reading at a slower pace than last year and this worries me a little.  Why, I wonder?  We actually have more time and less stress (last year my husband's grandmother died in January and it was stressful for quite awhile afterwards).  Regardless, here is my list for February:

THE LAST TWILIGHT by Marjorie M. Liu

SINGLE DAD, NURSE BRIDE by Lynne Marshall

Books Completed in January

Well, January hasn't been my best reading month by a long shot.  But here are books I've read that counted towards the challenge for January:

1.  WARRIOR SPIRIT by Alex Archer

2.  CHARMED & READY by Candace Havens

3.  DINNER FIRST, ME LATER? by Candy Halliday
