So, this weekend, my dh and I headed out to our cottage in the woods.  It was dry enough to drive the truck into the waayyy back where we loaded it with....stones.  Big ones.  Well, as big as two of us could handle on our own.  (There was a wonderful one that we managed to get up to the truck, and just couldn't load...I'm going back for that one.)

Well, I gave a few books away at Romantic Times, and since I'm gearing up for a bunch of new releases (2 in Aug., 1 in Oct, 2 in Dec) and spring cleaning (my backlist books are eating my attic), I'm in the mood to give a few away.  Go check out http://www.hollyjacobs.com/contest.html for details.

Just got home from RT.  Wow, what a wonderful time! I sat with Molly O'Keefe at the Awards Luncheon. She's a good friend, and she won the Reviewers' Choice Award for Best Superromance of '08!!

So, years ago, my college-age daughter came home on a break and decided she was going to cut my youngest's hair. "Just a trim, Mom," she said. Next thing I knew, my youngest could have joined the military and not needed to visit the barber first.
