It's time to use the self tanner

The sun is supposed to make an appearance to the tune of 70+ degrees today.  Imagine that!  After months of rain, we get the sun's presence today.  It's taking its time coming out from behind the clouds, but I am waiting for it.

Please God, let there be sun this weekend

I want to be able to take my book out on the deck and plop down on a chair and read in the sunshine.  The view from my deck is so serene - private forestland, lush ferns, wildlife.  It is so relaxing and wonderful and that is my dream for the weekend - to sit outside and read!  That's if my kids will allow it, however.  Ha!

Finished Rainbow's End and cried

Oh how I loved this book!  I couldn't get over how much it touched me.  A book hasn't done that in a long time.  I needed Kleenex as I got near the end, the last few chapters.  Happy tears, not sad tears.

I absolutely LOVE Harlequin books!

I am so thrilled to be a part of this community of readers.  I've been reading Harlequins for years and years.  I don't remember which book was my first, but I was basically a teenager when I read my first.  I have read from these lines:
