For mother's day, I got Brenda Novak's Stillwater trilogy. After reading the reviews on this board, I'd put it on my wish list. Now I have all three!
The TBR pile grows......
How about you all? Anyone get any good books as presents?

In case anyone is wondering what ever happened to my unsolicited book loaning incident (Coworker loans me book I never asked for. I hate it. What do I say?) I have an update. The story actually ended on a bit of a twist.
So....an acquaintance of mine loaned me a book. I didn't ask for it. It's one of those things, you start talking and they say, "Oh, let me bring in X for you! I think you'd like it!"
I just received the call that "Private Confessions" is a finalist in the Colorado Romance Writers 2008 "Award of Excellence" contest in the Erotic Romance category. Yipee!
Excuse me if I may interrupt your regularly scheduled programming for this heads up. I'm blogging today at the eHarlequin Blog Bash where I'm giving away a free copy of my April Blaze, "Putting It To The Test". So come on by. We're talking about musicals.

So, the book, Getting Lucky, got me thinking, and since this is the best reader forum I know, I'm curious. How many ghost story fans are out there? I love the creepy ones, the ones that run a chill up my spine. Best ever: The Shining, by Stephen King. I will always remember Danny in the hallway of the old hotel when he hears the elevator start up. Freaked me out!
No, your eyes aren't deceiving you. Yes, you did just see a post that said Leeanne sold to SRS. That was last week. This week, she sold to Blaze!!!
You got it. Two contracts in two weeks, proving what I've been telling her for years now: She's on her way to the top. And we get to say, "I knew you when". LOL!
When I set out to write my newest Blaze, I hadn't intended to put Clint Eastwood and Reba McIntyre together. It just sort of happened.
So, the Dream Team has another published author in it's midst. Leeanne Kenedy just sold to Silhouette Romantic Suspense!!!!
I'm WAY too excited, because she's waited a long, long time and has smiled graciously while a number of her friends and critique partners sold to Harlequin. Now it's her turn!!!!!!!!
Hey, check it out! I have a cover for my April Blaze, and I think it's my favorite. (Yep, even better than my Stephen Colbert look-alike half naked on the cover of "Private Confessions").
