Why is it that everytime I try to get settled into one story and book, another one is popping up in my head? It is so insistent and shouts me me my turn my turn!! until I open up a new document or notebook page and start writing.

Even though I have so much time on my hands at work during our quiet season, one would think that a writer would go bonkers with the chance to tap out so many words during this time.
