How do you organize?
Back when I first started writing I saved my ms in one file. Mainly because it never occured to me to do it any other way. Then one day I was posting on some writer's loop and one of the pubbed authors commented on this. She apparently thought this was a bad idea because if something happens to that file you could lose your entire ms.

Ah, the joys of writing. It's something so many of us have dreamed about and the road to publication can be long and riddled with disappointment, heart breaking lows and occasionally we get a pat on the back for our efforts. As I'm writing and editing I often find myself stuck. I don't know what should happen next or I can't find the words to say what I want to say. I realize this is what writing is all about, and that doesn't overly concern me, but what does concern me is the process I use to get past this.
