Update for all those who have some interest. Wedding plans continue to go amucking...

The best laid plans of mice and men... well, my plans aren't even on the level of being good. If ignorance is bliss, well, I think I'm the most bliss-full individual on the planet. I think I'll be better when I finally get all the invites off for the US Postal service to deliver.

Okay, so I believe I've nixed the Desire line as one I could write for - at least for now. I thought I came up with a decent plot, and even a likable hero. Problem: couldn't come up with a plausable reason for the H and h to get together. Bleah...

So... i wish to enter the Desire Pitch contest and have a decent plot, a heroine i like and a Hero... who apparently doesn't do anything for me because my brain refuses to write. of course, if i can't get excited about my Hero, how the bleep can i expect a reader to?

I've been working on the expansion of the just completed Writer Challenge and I am so thankful for the wonderful ladies who have been willing to read through my drivel and make critique suggestions so I can improve.

Melissa, Nancy and Star_girl : thank you for your time and effort to help make my story better.

Playing in the Writer Challenge forum has gotten my creative juices flowing. I've taken the backbone of the current challenge and expanded it to approximately 6K words. I think it's pretty good and if some people would like to show me otherwise - I will gladly take their advice.

*happy dance* Two ladies have critiqued my short story. The comments they made and things they pointed out have been very helpful to me. I'm excited about applying some of their comments to my work - i can see where what they've suggested will only serve to improve my writing.
