Seeing a spoiled and pampered Maria grow up and blossom was wonderful, additionally the re-kindeling of a love that was once lost....David and Maria's story was worth reading....Lovely read!!!

Good book especially loved the Justus character

Maria Johnson is basically a spoiled little rich girl, except that she's not at girl anymore at 28.  She's living off alimony payments and as she's due to inherit a trust fund from her grandfather in a year she's not exactly trying to do anything meaningful with her life, until her father shocks her by demanding she get a job - with his PR firm if she's got no better prospects - and what's more her former lover is coming back to take over as director of the firm!

When he does just that and insists she learns how to earn a living by working as an executive assistant at his firm, she decides to make the best of it even when she learns that her new boss is David Hunt – the man who broke her heart 4 years ago.

I liked this book at the end. they were always going back the 4 year. She was in love he didn't know how to tell her he loved her too. She always had his back even if she didn't like him. He thought she owed him explanation.
