Easy to read, quick read, not my cup of tea but I usually buy my books based on the number of pages as well as content. I need twists, turns, and lots of tension. too simplistic for my taste...

This is a new-to-me book line. This was an incredible fast read. I enjoyed the book--it is very relationship driven, so characters are not terribly well fleshed out.

Ryan Sperling is the fourth in line for the month long stay at the Lodge and at the same time he is in the process of taking over his family company from his father.  While he is in town, he goes into a store "Distressed Success" to buy a wedding gift and is attracted to the owner Kelly Hartly-the daughter of the woman his father had an affair with while his mother was dying.  Can Ryan

Some fairly classic elements--he's her father's heir apparent, she's going to marry another, but an investigation leads to a broken engagement. It was well-written and quite sexy! Perhaps she fell in with his plan a little quickly, but she did have motivations of her own. (MTH)

Ah, San Francisco a great location for a book when there is lots of money available....escpecially Russian Hill and Pacifice Heights. I loved living in this area, only wish I had had Griffin or Eva's income for it. Eva is a strong character who is trying to make some bad decisions. Griffin, I really liked from the very beginning. He is definantly his own man!
