It was a good book. The only stupid one was the heroine Jewel. Yeah give up an intelligent good looking man because he is a few years younger than you. Oh yes, he lied about being a prince big deal.

The second of the Reigning Men series. Mac/Marcus was an interesting character with LOTS of accomplices and poor Jewel/JC was never going to keep her independence with all the help he had. Made for a fun book. Haven is such a wonderful charity too. Sounds like Cayenne got a great new home too! My only complaint....we have to wait until December for Eric's story. Rats!

The first of the Reigning Men stories. So much sadness and loss in this family. I sure am glad the kids had someone like Lara there, not there, there for them. Rowan had a few issues and it was hard to believe that he could believe anything he saw in the press connected to the Royal Family, but I guess love really can blind one to the truth. Love the press conference towards the end.

Lara Brennan has been the royal nanny in the principality of Tesoro Del Mar for 4.5 years when the reigning prince and princess are killed. The next older brother, Prince Rowan, comes home from 10 years in London to be Prince Regent until his 12 y.o. nephew can become the ruler. The glitch? There's a provision that the ruler (or standing-in-ruler) be married within 6 months of his 35th birthday and Prince Rowan is almost 35. So, he starts meeting/dating women who meet the provisions of the law. But from the first time he laid eyes on Lara 4 years ago, he's been attracted to her and now that he's spending time with her, he's falling in love fast. Will he find a way to be with her as man and wife? A sweet read, a likable family. The youngest brother's book is out now. NFM

Colin is back to see his ex-wife and then he meets their daughter and finally realises she was pregnant when they got divorced. He wants a second chance with his family but Nikki is wary and anyway someone is trying to kill him. How will it work out?
Nikki was a problem for me, a bit too hypocritical for me to believe in a HEA. Nice conclusion.

The death of his brother, Prince Julian of Tesoro del Mar, places Rowan Santiago in a difficult position.  He must marry in six month or give up the throne.  Lara Brennan, the royal nanny for Julian's three children is too attractive for Rowan's peace of mind and she is not eligible to be his bride.  If he's to continue ruling, Rowan must marry--and unsuitable Lara's the only woman he wants.
