I liked this story. This is the first in the in the Denver Westmoreland’s. Anyone who’s read any of Ms. Jackson’s Westmoreland of Atlanta series will enjoy meeting the newest members of the family. The Westmoreland’s are a very family oriented group, which is what lead to them being discovered by the Atlanta branch of the family.

Good book, but one thing I didn't like was that Darius wanted revenge. I'm not a big fan of that, but it was done well enough that I I did enjoy reading this book. Both have trust issues, will they work it out before the danger lurking around Summer succeeds or is it too late to mend it?

Now I live in Ohio and we do not have hurricanes, thank God. But after reading this book and the hot and steamy romance during the storm, I could risk the experience. Brenda, my all time favorite author makes me want to be in a storm.

Those of you who know me know that Brenda Jackson is my all time favorite author - no matter what she writes. I like some better than others and I feel she writes some stories too quickly and doesn't develope them like I would like - but none the less she does a great job.
