A Husband of Her Own by Brenda Novak... QC #178
A Husband of Her Own by Brenda Novak, SuperRomance, #1130, May 2003 (series: book 2- Dundee, Idaho book)
Rebecca Wells had a reputation in Dundee. Once she married and moved she wouldn't hear the whispers behind her back. But her fiancée kept postponing the date. Josh Hill had always been a thorn in Rebecca's side. Ever since he moved in across the street from her. Over the years they pulled pranks on each other. While she gained the reputation of a troublemaker, Josh was just being a boy. And boys will be boys. It didn't help that Josh was like the son her father never had and with her being the youngest she was her father's last chance for a boy. They decide to call a truce to their war because her parent's anniversary party is coming up and everyone wants the party to go of without a hitch. Josh starts seeing how all the talk is hurting Rebecca, even though she acts tough and shrugs it off. What's with all the jealous and possessive feelings that keep cropping up? Shouldn't thoughts of his girlfriend and not Rebecca invade his mind? If Josh wanted Rebecca to get on with her life so he could get on with his, why would he call her fiancee and tell him of all Rebecca's past unsavory deeds?

Dead Right
This is the last book in the trilogy. I thought it was just great. Madeline Barker hires Hunter Solozano, the yummy P.I., to help her discover the truth about what happened to her father after years of searching for answers. The story tied everything together and flowed smoothly to its conclusion .
Dead Right
There is no review of this book, as I've choosen not to review my audios, but just to post them since they take me so long to listen to.
Dead Giveaway
I've really enjoyed this second book in the trilogy. This one focuses on Clay Montgomery and Allie McCormick. Allie is a cold-case detective who tries to help Clay's stepsister Madeline find out what happened to Maddy's father 19 years ago. Things really heat up between Clay and Allie. I usually try to take a break in between books that are part of a trilogy or series.
Dead Silence
Excellent romantic suspense! This book had me reading long into the night. I'm reading the second book in the trilogy and can't wait to read the third one to find out how it all ends.

Just Like The Ones We Used to Know
Angela Forrester is determined her foster child will get the one thing she wants for Christmas: to meet her real father--even though he doesn't know he has a little girl.
Coulda Been A Cowboy
Excellent book the characters were life like with real life problems. The only thing that bugged me was when Dakota started the pill. Okay I know I'm a bugger about details, but I had to go the the Ortho website to see if one could take the pill right then and there. I'm not up to speed on some things and Ms. Novak was right. Okay so shot me.
