Cara Colter
a Christmas romance...
What a wonderfully heartwarming story. I laughed out loud and felt my heart tug and finally my soul filled to the brim. This is why Cara Colter is one of my must-read authors. The tenderness and compassion and myriad forms of love perfectly enveloped and healed the hurt and pain. Definitely a keeper, to read again and again.

Miss Maple and the Playboy by Cara Colter (HR Aug 09)
Ben Anderson has been the guardian of his eleven-year-old nephew, Kyle for ten days. Kyle has just handed him a note from his teacher requesting a meeting. They are going to be very late for it. Miss Maple, who Kyle has described as old and more than ugly is quite a surprise---she’s young and very pretty.
His Mistleoe Bride
Miss Maple and the Playboy - Cara Colter
Kyle is one seriously too grown up kid in some ways and so very immature and needing of affection and attention in others. This was a 10 on the warm fuzzy scale. I love how Beth and Ben teach Kyle to bike ride. I love how Beth is forced to come out of her shell and teeny house and how poor Ben has to grow up and face his demons too. This was a nice story with some interesting side stories. I would like to have Beth's new tree house
The Prince and the Nanny by Cara Colter (HR #3940, Mar 07)
Great read about a spirited riches-to-rags h who is just what the young prince and princess need after their mother's death. The scene near the end betwen our heroine and the queen was excellent. Very likable H and h. And the supporting cast of characters are good, too. NFM
