Close to home...close to Dodie and Jace
Hi
I just finished Close to home.
Theses characters reflect the non likable reality of some women who should face difficult situations like sexual abuse.
I was amazed by the simplicity of this story and it helped me to open my eyes around and learn to read people in pain like Dodie, this way I can help to bring support and Jesus can use me to do so.
The Matchmaking Pact
My Opinion: A very cute story about two little girls (the bestest of friends) who each one either a new mommy or a new daddy. The guardians are unaware of the girls plans. Both Silas Marstow and Josie Crane are trying to continue living after suffering great pain. Silas lost his wife from cancer and is now trying to raise his little girl Lily all by himself.
Wow Close to Home was great!
WOW!
The Matchmaking Pact
Sorry guys I will try to put more personal opinion in the blogs later on. I have been super busy. So I have been spending every spare minute trying to catch up on my tbr pile. I wish there was enough time in the day.

The Parent Trap
Family Wanted
Luke had always wanted a family. His mother wasn't much and was always asking for money. He made his living flipping houses and the house he is working on now is next door to a widow with three kids. He would like to be friends but the youngest is afraid of his dog and the mother is gun shy. Can he overcome her barriers and the barriers he has erected between himself and his mother?
Toward Home
Loved this story! It had all the emotions that come with closure on many levels.
The turning points for me came with names. The first time Tiffany called Adam, daddy and then when she said Melanie instead of Melalie I knew. I truly loved her mispronounciation of the h's name throughout the book. It was realistic and endearing.
Twin Blessings
H: Logan Napier is raising his nieces in direct opposition to how he was raised and how they were raised prior to their parents death. He is uptight, rigid, and usually boring. Will a free-spirited woman change that?
Melanie Visser and Adam Engler story
Melanie Visser was a home health nurse and was on her way to Derwin to see a new patient. She was just driving along and had directions, but wasn’t sure what to expect when she got there. When she got there she saw something that looked familiar to her then it came to her that this was the house she use to visit and spend time with her best friend and her family.
A Family for Luke by Carolyne Aarsen Love Inspired 1/09
I did enjoy the book. It wouldn't be one my favorites, but it was a good book. I thought it was a nice story. How all of Luke's life he wanted a family and right next door was the potential to be that family. Though Luke had an ideal family in is mind he knew Janine and her kids messes and all could be the ONE family is been searching for.
