I found this to be a wonderful book.  I loved how the characters came together and the story was wonderful.

Royce McIntyre lost his hand in an overseas industrial accident. He is now living in Phoenix trying to put his life together. Ten year old Jake Garner sends a SOS message for homemade Rice Krispies Treats. Jake's baby sitter has gone awol and he is trying to keep this fact from his mom, Katy. When Katy does find out she hires Royce as a temporary nanny.

This was one of my favorite books in the series so far. I could not put this book down, the relationship between Ryan Pearce and Jamie Tanner was so real and it put into perspective what life is like inside the NASCAR community and how it effects the families of those people.I would recommend this book to anyone, while reading it I felt like I was there with the characters!

Sam wants to hire Michael straight out of highschool to drive cars but Michael's mother Tess would prefer Michael to go to Stanford on his scholarship than to drop out to be a NASCAR driver. So Sam offers to let her tag along and supervise for six months. As Tess learns to let go, Michael gets jealous of Tess and Sam's budding romance, but then he has his first accident and gets cold feet.

I very much enjoyed Baby, I'm Yours. Carrie always does a great job depicting family life and this book was no exception. The portraits of the three children at very different ages was so realistic.

Tess's son had his future all planned out.  Or, at least, she had it all planned out for him, but he was something more, some excitement.  And, Sam Kincaid was offering that excitement to him - driving in NASCAR.  Tess is afraid Sam is like her ex-husband -  a risk junkie.  But she learns differently.  This book follows the maturity of Michael, as an 18 year old boy to a man.  It also follo

Powerful writing in a difficult situation.  I was in shock at how this book began, but it was also very easy to see (and believe) how this romance developed in the worst of times.  Sorrow and grief can make people respond in odd ways.  This was definitely odd, but it turned out ok.  I guess it wouldn't be romance if it hadn't!
