Allegra (not Allegro as the back of the book calls her...) is a young mage woman in Aronsdale. She's captured by nomads from the neighbouring country of Jazid, and sold to be a pleasure slave to the exiled prince, Markus.

Allegra must escape to warn her homeland about plans for war, but she also finds herself falling for Markus.

This is another wonderful installment in the Lost Continent Series. I actually finished this book a couple weeks ago but haven't had time to blog.

blogging for the counter. I love this series of Asaro's and wish I had more time tor ead to stay caught up on them. This was I think book 2 so I know I have at least two more to go. I can't remember if there's 4 or 5 now, counting the new one that just came out. NFM

Taka Mal is worried that Cobalt the dark will attack them. So they kidnap Mel Dawnfield's uncle, Drummer. The queen of Taka Mal never imagined though that she would fall in love with the Minstrel.

In this book Mel, the daughter of Chime and Muller, is grown up. The family had been running Harsdown after Aronsdale defeated the warmonger Varquelle. The Dawnfields changed life in Harsdown for the better. However, not everyone was happy about Harsdown's new found prosperiety.

Liked all the tales. Nice reads.
