The Briton by Catherine Palmer, Love Inspired Historical
Yet another book that took me forever to read simply because it took a while for me to get into it. I love historical romances, but maybe this era is just not for me. Totaly mideval (sp?) but after several chapters I started to enjoy it.

The Briton by Catherine Palmer (LIH)
This book was the first in the LIH line and it set the standard very high. I had never read this author before and I was impressed with The Briton. It is one of the best books I have read so far this year.
The Briton (Steeple Hill Love Inspired Historical #1) by Catherine Palmer
Get ready to be transported to 12th Century remote Briton and meet Browden as she leaves her home and finds her world turned upside-down. It was easy to become lost in this book.
Love's Haven
I definitely recommend this book. Catherine Palmer captures the characters' emotions in a way that is not only credible but touching. I felt for Mara and found myself wondering what I would do if I were in her situation, widowed with a baby.
The Briton by Catherine Palmer
A very interesting take--not quite what I was expecting from the first LIH! The heroine's exploration of her own beliefs and coming to terms with the hero's Christian faith was handled nicely. There was perhaps a bit of confusion in some of her goals and actions, but it was a convincing and moving story that drew me in. I'll look forward to another one! (MTH)
THE BRITON [Harlequin 15]
The debut novel for the new Love Inspired Historical line is a solid piece of romantic fiction that will thrill the heart of anyone who ever watched those classic knights-and-castles movies of the 1940s and '50s.
The Briton by Catherine Palmer LIH Feb 08
Wow! I am amazed that Catherine wrote this book 23 years before it was published!!!!! It was a very fluent read that set a high mark for the LIHistoricals sure to follow!
Lady Bronwen is a typical oldest sibling. She takes her responsibility to her family very serious. She would do anything to defend her families property.
The Briton by Catherine Palmer LI Historical Inaugural Issue #1 - Feb 08
This is a great book! Bronwen is a strong, determined woman. Yes, s
