The Italian's Convenient Wife by Catherine Spencer

This story was different.  The gal’s neice and nephew are orphaned and
she and the uncle whom she’s had an affair with years ago are the ones
to be taking care of them.   I actually didn’t read it straight
through, but would pick it up and read a bit here and a bit there…all
in the wrong order.  Not sure what that says about the story but… I was

3.5 Stars. A good read. Brianna-insecure. Dimitrios-too proud. Betrayal, mistrust played major factors. Brianna tested Dimitrios because he hurt her too deeply. Dimitrios finally admitting his love for Briana after a lot internal struggle. Very sweet ending to show that their love would last for this & another lifetime. But a not keeper-infidelity. NFM

Gabrielle is a model and she's estranged from her husband Max.  Because of a misunderstanding, they never really started their marriage for real.  Now they are coming back together to pretend they are a happy married couple for the sake of her parents who are visiting. This stirs things up again.

Rating: 3/5 stars, I disliked the separation plot.

The Italian's Convenient Wife by Catherine Spencer (HP 2552)

Nine years ago at the wedding of their siblings, they had sex and she got pregnant.  She kept it a secret and let her sister & husband adopt her twin babies.  Now the sister & husband have died and the issue is raised: who will take custody of the kids?  The couple are drawn together and quickly the passion flares between them again, but there is the unresolved issue of parentage, she holds back on the secret of their birth.  Great passion, good plot, nothing to hate about the book.

Rating: 4/5 stars, I regretted the years they wasted apart, but this was such a well-done story!
