The Driven Snowe by Cathy Yardley.  It took me nearly a whole week to read this book,  It wasn't badly written, I just felt like i was plodding through this book.  The story is about Angela Snowe, a librarian,  who thinks she is dying, so at age 29, she convinces Josh Montgomery, a local "player' to help her lose her virginity.  Then it turns out she is going to live and Josh wants to d

Colin Reeves, supermodel, comes how for a visit, and gets a room at Emily's bed and breakfast.  Emily is tired of her good girl image, and wants to have some fun without the whole town knowing.  Is one night enough?

This book was simply fantastic. I really enjoyed the way it grounded the relationship with a long-standing knowledge of each other between the main characters. Emily's reluctance to start a relationship with Colin because of the repercussions it might have is really palpable and plays out toward the end.

I don't believe I've read this author before but she is very good with this novel.
