I really liked Lucy and her self doubts with the family repeatedly questioning her actions empathic but I thought Carlo's reaction to
blood (when Lucy cut her finger) or he's reactions to hospital seem
reaching over the top for an obstacle in their realtionship. Come one he's in security as a job he's bound to see red on the line.

Years ago I read a book by Christie Ridgway. I liked it, but never went out to buy another of hers. Looking for more Special Edition titles I came across Bachelor Boss, recognized the name and bought it.
