This is a good book that deals with gritty issues. It shows the life and times of Ms. Ebony that has survived in an drug infested neighborhood. The hero Richard has his own issues but together they make a formidable pair.

Oh boy is this book hot! It was a wonderful book. The cover of the book is something else, so it does provide you with a little hint as to what is inside. Yes it is about drama that only a family can provide along with the romance of the main characters. This is the first book I have read by Ms. King-Bey but it will not be the last.
