Three very wonderful stories in one buy. The Guy Diet by Thea Devine, Light My Fire by Debbi Rawlins and No Reservations by Samantha Hunter were a great match.

The Guy Diet by Thea Devine - This was a good story, but a bit repetitious. (I fell asleep reading the story around page 59!)  I loved Jed, he was so patient and understanding (good things come to those who wait).  Lo was a great friend to be so concerned about her roommate and best friend's feelings, although Paula came across as very shallow.

This anthology offers three sexy novellas. In each story the woman does something different (like goes on a no-man diet, takes an extreme vacation or celebrates her 30th birthday in a completely different way.) Once she is out of her comfort zone, the woman discovers the man of her dreams--and finds out a little bit more about herself.

Good book, my first Blaze-loved it!

The veterinarian of Cooper’s Corner, Alex McAllister, has been grieving for eight years following the death of his wife. Along comes Jenny and this known rescuer of animals large and small is galvanized into action. This time he is propelled to action knowing that this woman is suffering from the loss of her father (and Alex’s good friend) Ed. Jenny is ill and needs help, so Alex offers a marriage of convenience (MOC). Will Jenny accept it? If she does what happens when the terms are satisfied? 

This is book 9 in a 12-book continuity. Each book can stand alone, but some benefit more from prior books than others. This book does just fine as a stand alone. Rawlins manages to keep this reader engaged from start to finish. Thumbs up.
