Darwin Tolliver and Bridget Hintons are the two main characters. Bridget had a secret crush on Darwin and when the opportunity existed they finally got together. Bridget was an atty and Darwin is a chef with his own TV show. Darwin executive wanted to use gossip and other issue to put the show on the map which was not want he wanted to do.

A first of a series and a great one. John Stallion and Marah are complete opposite. Marah is feisty and trying to hold on to everything from the past. Mark is quite man who took over the responsibility of raising his other brothers. When Marah's father decided to sell their ranch to the Stallion, Marah had a fit and was determined to put an end to it.
