Devon Vaughn Archer

     The sense of Christmas magic leading to romance is what lead me to read this book.  The characters were very human, prone to the fears and weaknesses that any of us have,.  The process by which both Conrad and Audrey confront and conquer these aspects make for a wonderfully real tale of romance and love.  I loved reading a romance written by a man and from a male point-of-view... from the other side as it were.  And it was just as compelling as any other love story in which I found myself connected to the characters and their story.  Of course the picture that I have of Conrad in my head added greatly to the appeal ~ sexy, gorgeous, real men are always fun to read about!

I liked the book, but there was something about it that really kept me from feeling real excited about the book.  I still haven't figured out what is was though.  This was a romance that started out as a one night stand and almost didn't even get a chance for things to go futher.  I think what may have distracted me was that there were a few sidestories that got in the way of the romance, which
