There was a lot of action packed into a short period of time in this book.  I liked the characters and the plot.  I liked the romance in the end when Grady finally realized what he wanted. 

Dante kidnapped Ariana and then they both got abducted and abandoned on a deserted island. Ariana wants to prove her father's innocence but is Dante a baddie or just an undercover cop. Who is Megaera and what's her real aim? Will the Comorra catch them and kill them or will Dante and Ariana manage to evade all their would-be killers?

Except it seemed to me that this actually takes place over the span of roughly two days.  Loved this though: Kate and Liam, the protags of Bk 3 have a little girl named Colleen.  I distinctly remember complaining about the fact that Kate's obnoxious sister was named Janine.  I seriously feel that my name (the spelling anyway) gets a bad rep.  I have no idea if this really was a shout out to me

The book in the series focuses on the disappearance of the ship's librarian Adrianna Bennett, who secret mission was to find out the mystery surrounding her father's arrest and death.
