Dixie Browning

Anthology (SSR) ~ Going to the Chapel ~ 2002 [224]

challenge_name:

Got this book primarily because it contained an unread Sharon Sala story... that's another author for whom I'm doing a backlist search.
I knew that I'd like Sala's story, but I didn't expect to enjoy the other two as much.  I've read one or two stories by the other authors before, but nothing that really stood out in my mind.
But by the stories in this book, I was very taken:  An excellent collection of wonderfully romantic adventures on the way to the altar.  Gotta love 'em. (I  sure do!)

RATING: Excellent ~ 4.0 stars
Steaminess: Romantic to Sensual

The Millionaire's Pregnant Bride

It was a fairly decent book but not the best I've ever read. I enjoyed most of the other cattleman books better

They get stranded on an island with no food and a little girl who won't/can't talk.

His Business, Her Baby (Worlds Most Eligible Bachelors) by Dixie Browning Nov 98

challenge_name:

This book worked despite the odds. Why despite the odhis business her babyds? Because the H has just suffered a coronary and is looking for a stress-free place to relax when he decides to buy...on sight...a log house owned by a 7 mo pregnant woman who makes him uncomfortable. Not only does he decide to buy it, but he actually moves in and starts taking care of her. If he's so worried about having more heart problems, then the last place he should be is with a woman who could go into labor at any time. (It's possible - I have 4 kids and never made it to the 9th month with any of them!)
