I have read many of Lowell's contemporaries but this was my first of her historicals. This is a great story with a wonderful h/H relationship. I would highly recommend this book if you are looking for a good old-fashioned historical romance. Caleb and Willow's story will keep you up late at night reading it! It's a keeper!

I was cleaning out the attic this weekend and found some very old silhouette books that I haven't read for years. I was astonished to find some books that I haven't even read yet but had bought when I first started out reading these romantic novels. Fire and Rain was one of this books.
