Emma Holly
Beyond The Dark Anthology Angela Knight, Diane Whiteside, Emma Holly, & Lora Leigh
One of the best anthologies I've read. Angela Knight's was very different and would like to see a longer book in this world. Hers and Lora Leigh's were my favorites, but I really enjoyed Diane Whiteside's with her twist on Bonaparte's invasion. There was a very tender romance also. Emma Holly's story was well done it was just a bit too erotic for my taste. Overall an excellent read.
Emma Holly, Strange Attractions
Emma Holly, Strange Attractions. I liked this one a lot--it seemed like a deeper, more charming rework of some of the ideas in her novel Menage. For instance, I think the threesome relationship worked out a lot better and made more emotional sense to me; also, I just liked the characters better.
Luisa's Desire
A child of midnight who has arrived at a spiritual refuge in Tibet. Far from her normal immortal life, Luisa is surrounded by simplicity and self-denial. Here, she hopes to expunge her dangerous desires. But when she meets the monk who can save her, Luisa realizes she's only beginning to understand what desire is.
113. Anthology ~ Beyond the Dark ~ Berkley Sensation (Dec 2007)
I've been meaning to submit this review for a couple of days, but I always manage to distract myself. So, I decided to sit down and at least get it started. I'll have the basics set down, but I may have to finish it up later ~ I figure, though, that if it's at least started, then it'll be easier to finish!
Anyway, I got this book because of the Angela Knight and the Lora Leigh stories, and they were both excellent. I really enjoyed another of LL's Wolf Breeds stories... and I have to say that Matthias was my pick for hottie of the year! Angela Knight's story deals with Hypers ~ people with sudden and unexpected psychic gifts ~ and I loved it.... I truly hope that there will be more of these in the very near future... wow! Tracker / Josiah was very, very yummy. And Rich... I can see his story coming out next... I hope!

Hot Spell
Sadly, yet another book I did not like. I've heard such great things about all of these authors, but, I'm going to be returning this book. I got it because of Lora Leigh's story - and it was the best one, but way too short.
