A wonderful description of a single mother cutting the apron strings!  I found the truth in this book to be incredibly refreshing.  I have never been a single parent, nor have I been left at the altar, but Aimee and Jacob's story was so contemporary that it felt like Irene took dictation from Aimee and Jacob themselves.

With a self centered teenage daughter, single mother Aimee Blake decides o go with neighbor Erica to a singles meeting.  She meets Jacob who tells her about Substitute Siblings where adults help children in school with homework or just spend time with them.  She agrees to go to the introduction meeting and then agrees to meet Chloe.  Chloe is now living with her grandmother and goes to the same

This story reminded me to the feelings I had the first time I dated after being single for seven years.  Also I had teenagers at the time and they were not very supportive.  The author did a very good job of pointing out that when we follow God's leading life goes smoother.

Widowed mom,Aimee Blake is now facing her teen daughter,Samantha's rebellion.

It had as good of a suspenful plot as a reagular Suspense title.  I enjoyed it for the second time.
