This is the third Henry Parker novel by Jason Pinter (it's on sale August 08 for any of you who are waiting). Once again I really enjoyed being swept into Henry's world of suspense and intrigue. Once again Henry puts his life on the line to get the story...and what a story it is! Definitely a must-read for anyone who has enjoyed The Mark and The Guilty.

I enjoyed the first book of this series The Mark.It features a reporter Henry Parker who gets to deliver news no one has ever done before. In this second book you are kept on the edge of your seat once again. There is a comment at the back of the book that says that you will hope he survives the story but you won't bet on it. It is really true and I recommend everyone reads this series.

I was really looking forward to this one based on the great reviews. This book had elements I'd normally enjoy: a crime-solving journalist, the historical connection to the Wild West. But flat characters, a focus more on Henry's incredibly pathetic love life, and a complete lack of shades of grey left me bored.  (Warning: this gets ranty.)  

Add me to the growing list of reviewers who thoroughly enjoyed The Guilty, Jason Pinter's second outing (his first was The Mark).
