Jayne Castle
168. Jayne Ann Krentz ~ Sizzle and Burn ~ Putnam [Arcane Society] 2008
This is the third novel, yet second contemporary story, in JAK’s Arcane Society series. She’s writing this series both in her capacity as historical romance author Amanda Quick and as contemporary Jayne Ann Krentz. I’m really enjoying the back-and-forth development of this series. True to this author’s sense of exciting adventure and enthralling romance, Sizzle and Burn continues, yet carries forward, this series. I really enjoy the paranormal elements as well; the members of the Arcane Society are all psychic to one degree or another, and cover all bases regarding their ‘talent’. Like all of JAK's novels, this is another winner and one which I VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Silver Master
More attractive Ghost Hunters (mischievous green energy blobs not ethereal essences), more glowing green marble, more psychic amber.
What more could a girl ask for in Book 4 of this delightful series.

After Glow
After Glow is Book 2 of the Ghost Hunter series.
It takes place on a colony which has lost all contact with Earth. Several generations later the people have picked up strange psychic abilities which are enhanced by the use of resonating amber.
This is a great series and you shouldn't miss this book.
After Dark
After Dark is the first in a series of fun futuristic books known as "The Ghost Hunters".
The people are the descendants of colonists from Earth. The way home was closed off and they became permanent residents on Harmony.
Certain psychic abilities are enhanced through the use of psychic amber.
The characters are fun.

After Dark
I've read and enjoyed many of Jayne Ann Krentz and Amanda Quick novels and wanted to read one under her third pen name of Jayne Castle. It was a very good read and not too difficult to follow with the paranormal references.
