JD Robb

(143) Holiday in Death

challenge_name:

Another hit by Robb. Reread.

(141) Vengence in Death

challenge_name:

Reread.

(139) Ceremony in Death

challenge_name:

I think this is the one had me eventually giving up on the series when I first tried to read it. I have a hard time dealing with the topic of sexual violence, I can't always seperate myself from the character and Robb/Roberts is the kind of author whose writting just sucks you right in.

(137) Rapture in Death

challenge_name:

Janine didn't have this one when I first tried to read this series.

(135) Glory in Death

challenge_name:

Another reread.

(133) Naked in Death

challenge_name:

I first read this a few years ago so it took me awhile to remember who the bad guy was. That's okay though, sometimes that's the whole point of rereading a book, dontcha think.

Strangers in Death - JD Robb

challenge_name:

The last of the audiobooks I can find of JD Robb's books and a very good one at that. I didn't like Mrs. Anders and how she so easily manipulated people. As always, Dallas and Roarke are wonderful and Loise and Charles are a great side story in this one. Now I must get the ones not read from the library.

Born in Death - JD Robb

challenge_name:

Well, Mavis finally has her baby and this one had a really great ending. Love all the silliness with Roarke and Dallas and babies. Of course, as my husband and I are listening to this one, we (childless) can really understand them and not so much all the desire for women going through all this birthing stuff.

Origin in Death - JD Robb

challenge_name:

Wow, yuck and yeow too! Cloning in all its glory (NOT!) This was a really good story with some really weird issues being delt with. My husband and I enjoyed listening to this one together a great deal. Dallas and Roarke are always entertaining. WIsh we got more about the Thanksgiving meal get together though!

Creation in Death - JD Robb

challenge_name:

Another really good Dallas and Roarke story. This one was espeically gruesome, but all the characters come in to play in this one and the ending was really interesting in that Eve seems to actually appreciate what Roarke can do. Sommerset even plays a good role in this one.
