J.D. Robb
Ceremony In Death
This is the fifth book in the In Death series. I liked the first couple and now they seem to be getting routine.
Eve
Dallas is called in by the Chief to investigate a dead policeman, also
Feeny's old partner. It seems the dead man may have been involved in
dealing narcotics.
STRANGERS IN DEATH by JD Robb
COPIED BLURB: Technology may be different in 2060 New York, yet the city is still a place of many cultures and great divides. But as ever, some murders receive more attention than others-especially those in which the victim is a prominent businessman, found in his Park Avenue apartment, tied to the bed-and strangled- with cords of black velvet.
Portrait in Death by J.D. Robb (Berkley)
This is the 16th book in this series that never gets old or boring!
Origin in Death
I read this book last year and just had to read again. Eve Dallas enters into the world of cosmetic surgery when a murder occurs and she faces a tough task as to who wanted the good doctor dead. As she makes her way through the past of the doctors', she uncovers something another world entirely.
Glory in Death by J.D. Robb (audio read by Christine McMuerto-Wallis)
Book 2 in the In Death series, has Eve and Roarke dealing with their relationship – will Eve be willing to open up to Roarke and is he willing to deal with her issues? At the same time, Eve has some psycho slitting women’s throats. Even worse, the first woman is a good friend of the Commanders putting lots of personal feelings on the line.
Creation in Death by J.D. Robb
Creation in Death by J.D. Robb is another Eve Dallas mystery. This one focuses on a serial killer how has returned to New York. He likes to see how long his victims can survive his cruelty and leaves them for the police to find with the length of time they survived.
Witness in Death
Witness for the Prosecution - a wonderful story by Agatha Christie - serves as a backdrop to this book. Eve is at the premiere of the play with Roarke, and at the end - a murder occurs, just like in the book, but this time it is for real. As Eve sifts through the lies, the spinning and gets at the truth, she discovers the best step she has ever taken.
Creation in Death
A murderer from Eve's past has resurfaced and this time it is becoming personal - Roarke is involved. As they work together to solve this crime, Roarke gets an even better understanding of what she goes through in each case and comes to love her even more. There is a twist at the end you don't really see coming, but you wonder what is going to happen in the future.
