Newlyweds of Convenience by Jessica Hart

Boy, what kind of luck......Two heroines in a row that I just cannot stand. In this one, the thought.....martyr kept running through my head. I cannot believe that Perdita would take on ALL the burden physically and financially and when there are two brothers out there. Then, one bad realationship with LOTS of other extenuating circumstances (okay one ex wife) and she hangs all single fathers out to dry. Poor, poor Perdita - NOT -. I liked Edward. I liked the kids. I liked Millie, but I still don't like Perdita. It was a good book and she is a good character to be able to dislike!
Newlyweds of Convenience
Wonderful book about the Highlands of Scotland. Fast read!
Christmas Eve Marriage

I loved how she wasn't a perfect size 8 and worried about spreading thighs in shorts. The usual misunderstandings, but the niece does a nice job as a match-maker.
Barefoot Bride
Alice has always strived to have a stable life, job, home, which she never had growing up. Her parents were hippy scientists. That's why she left Will Paxman, the love of her life, but also transient scientist who goes wherever the job wind will blow him.
