Dr. Katie Sorenson vows never to work in the ER again after an incident which impinges her reputation.  That is, until she comes upon an accident and the training kicks in again.  She is invited to join Dr. Alex Brooklyn's team.  She is enjoying being back 'in the saddle', but will her past come back.

For Katie Sorenson life was getting complicated. She was not any longer practicing medicine due to a traumatic incident in A&E where she once worked. She was working in a rehabilitation center where first a workman drilled a hole through a water pipe, then shortly after that one of the builders had taken a nasty rumble off the roof. Then the center had closed and she was out of a job.
