As the rest of the series has been this was a non stop page turner. Pretty sure I loved every minute of Hawk's story. All I can say is wow what a book. I was thrilled to see little Lucy come home. Alonsa has been searching for her daughter for 2 years. Lucy had been missing and the FBI couldn't find her. Some how though our BRAVO, TANGO, COWBOY pulled through just fine.

This is the first offering of Joanna Wayne's Special Ops Texas miniseries. I read Cowboy to The Core first and had to go back and find this one. Just like Cowboy to The Core, this was a fast-paced well written novel with great characters and sexy chemistry between the H/h. I'll definitely be on the lookout for future books in this series.

3.5 hearts ~ I'm really enjoying Joanna Wayne's stories; there's something about her characters and stories that can take me out of myself. In A CLANDESTINE AFFAIR, her heroine Jaci Matlock, is a woman who revels in untangling mysteries; forensic mysteries. The premise is intriguing and the execution nicely done.

This book grabbed me right from the beginning because of the setting: The Texas Renaissance Festival. This is right in my own back yard and is an event that we attend every year. The author got all the details right which made it even more enjoyable. Then the H/h moved onto Old Town Spring where I have left MANY dollars. LOL

250. Behind the Veil by Joanna Wayne ... A-1 conclusion to the Moriah's Landing series

Behind the Veil: Moriah's Landing (April 2008)

4 hearts ~ Beauty and the Beast is one of my very favourite romance themes and Joanna Wayne's BEHIND THE VEIL is a beautiful example of this. Dr. David Bryson has been fodder for gossip and fingered for everything that has gone wrong in Moriah's Landing for 20 years.

Joanna I think this one is my favorite so far. A twin sister that Dani never knew about blew my mind. That is just well there isnt' any words to describe that. I loved the take charge alpha male of Marcus. It was just what Dani needed if he wasn't there she woudl have gotten herself in so many messes. Well she did get in those messes but Marcus was to the rescue.
