I wasn't expecting the story with Leslie and Scott but it definitely made the book interesting.

My last book for August and the 4th of the Thoroughbred Legacy books. I wanted to finish all 8 from my to be read box, but will not make it since it is already Monday and I must finish Friday's work before the end of the holiday....so of course I am blogging and not working, BUT I am at my desk. This was another that had a bit of lots of things going on. Good guys, bad guys, matchmakers, suspense, mystery. I am finding one them through this series that bothers me a bit though....all the age differences between heros and heroines. The difference between the widow Amanda and Robbie, the trainer is 12 years. It has been about 10 years so far throughout the series. Oh well. I am starting to get frustrated about Leopold's Legacy and Apollo Ice.

Although I did enjoy Dex and Lara's story, I must say that I wanted to hear much more about what happens to them when the book ended. Will Jamie make the move? Does Lara resolve any issues with her mother (and cronies)? Does Dex get his mojo back? I also would love to hear more about the rock pitching mistress of centuries gone...  (lol too funny)!

Again I love this series!  This one the heroine is 12 years older than the hero!  Gosh, got to love that!!!  Again, I'm wanting to move on to the next book and so glad they are almost out!!!
