Handyman by Jodi Lynn Copeland
Blurb about Book:
He’s every woman’s secret fantasy…the handyman who can service her every need and bring her to ultimate sexual satisfaction…
184. Anthology ~ What Happens in Vegas... ~ SPICE (May 2008)
As soon as I read about this book on Lauren Dane's group I knew that it would be mine... and now it is. I really enjoyed it and three of the stories are 4.0 to 4.5 stars. The one that I rated 2.5 stars is that it came across far more as erotica rather than erotic romance; personally I'm not a fan of just erotica ~ I need an emotional connection with any very sexual story. Otherwise, the story was good... just not my cup of tea.
What I find amusing is that I read a review that was exactly the opposite of mine: the reviewer didn't like romance with her erotica so three of the stories didn't do it for her and the other was the best... funny how different people can see the same thing so differently. But that's what makes the whole reading thing so much fun, IMHO.
RATING:
Excellence: Overall, EXCELLENT!!
Steaminess: Inferno
Hot for You - in What Happens in Vegas
This was one of four books in the Spice "What Happened in Vegas". Very sexy!
One Nocturne Bite and Four Spice Briefs
Racing the Moon by Michele Hauf (Nocturne Bite, 2008)
Copied Blurb:
When the full moon rises, his urgent sexual desire becomes overpowering...and satisfying his demanding lust is the one way he can stop his transformation.
But now he’s stranded in the middle of nowhere, with a storm raging outside, and moonrise imminent. And only the beautiful stranger who rescued him can keep the wolf at bay. Only, she’s resisting his ardent seduction with all her might.
It’s not that she doesn’t ache for him every bit as hungrily as he does for her. Their mutual attraction is fierce and explosive. But they are very different species...and surrendering to her desire will call forth something much more terrifying than the wolf.
What Happens In Vegas...
Overall, I enjoyed this book, and am being won over to the
Spice Line.
This book came out February 26, and I've been waiting to read it. Finally did. Unfortunately, I was somewhat disappointed.
