Great adventure book for summer. Romantic and funny. Gabrielle, a London debutant meets Drew Anderson, a American sea captain.  The adventure ranges from grand balls to pirates, involving scandal and revenge.

I had read the back cover of this one in the store awhile back, then left it there, wasn't sure I wanted to read a book about a spiteful shrewish woman.  But I picked it up at the last minute last week and thought, why not you love Johanna Lindsey?....Glad I did, thoroughly enjoyed it and totally recommend it

Totally different genre for Johanna Lindsey -- was great reading about the out of this galaxy worlds she created, and the give and take of man and woman.  

This is a historical romance and I just love these types of stories.  This is a wonderful book and is probably the best one I have read so far this year.  Johanna Lindsey is definitely on my autobuy list now.  She is right up there with my other 2 favorite historical authors, Stephanie Laurens and Sabrina Jeffries!  This book has it all...romance, suspense, mystery, surprise, love, and passion!!  Con't...

Story of the knight Ranulf and Reina.  As usual once I start a Johanna Lindsey novel, the dishes pile up, my household chores go unnoticed and I stay up past my bedtime to finish it, but I am never disappointed.
