This may be the first Everlasting Love book I've read. I will definitely read more, and look for more books by this author, but I do have to say it was different from any other book I've read. Most books zip along, and from start to finish, encompass a very short period of time. This book covered Emily's life over the course of several years.

This book took me by surprise. I got it on a free book Friday. It turned out to be a very good book--sad at times and emotionally charged but a good read. It is Ms. Raxten's debut novel. It also has a paranormal element that added depth to the story.
