The Gift by Julie Garwood
Shadow Music by Julie Garwood
Princess Gabrielle finds herself in a bit of a problem when two barons make false accusations against her. Then Colm MacHugh comes to her rescue and in order to keep her safe, he marries her. This book is a return to historical romance by Julie Garwood. I love her historicals and was very happy to learn she was writing them again. While this book was not great, I thought it was good.
Shadow Dance by Julie Garwood (Ballantine Books 2007)
As Jordan's brother and best friend are married, her friend and FBI agent Noah says something to her that strikes a chord: "You never step outside your safe environment, your comfort zone. You stay in the shadows." And so she decides to do something spontaneous: she's going to Texas to meet with a history professor to learn about her family's ancient feud. Not long after arriving in the friendly small town, she finds a body in the trunk of her car.
